Loading and unloading elevator is used for the meat transportation on sliding hooks on the tube suspended way between the vehicle (cold-storage lorry) and the meat producing department (railways). Elevator, per roller chain with pressing cams adapted for both directions (loading and unloading), pushes sliding hooks with the meat into the lorry or contrariwise. Elevator is clamped on one ending by pivot, on the other is hooked in chain-block. By changing the elevator’s drift is possible to balance differences in lorry’s elevation so it is not necessary to push sliding hooks uphill. For better handling is the telescopic arm hooked on mobile tackle.
